A little bit about me
Hi! It was the end of 2016 and my weight had ballooned to 100kg. I couldnโt walk for 30 minutes without the need to stop. I wasnโt happy and I needed change, for myself and for those around me.
My wife signed me up to a 5km run near home a few months after my peak weight was recorded. I had a goal and finally found the motivation to work towards it. I had to be patient and I started walking. Then I ran one minute and then twoโฆ
When race day came, I laced up my shoes and toed my first ever start line. I can truly say that my life changed by the time I crossed the finish line.
Thatโs how my story began, so wherever you are in your life, itโs not too late to get started. I never compared myself to others, but always against the past version of myself. I often look back to when I was unfit and mostly unmotivated to pursue the best version of myself.
Fast forward a few years and now I am a sub-3 marathoner, ultra runner and coach. My goal is to provide a research-based experience and help you fit your training around work and life commitments so you can enjoy the sport in the long run. And maybe change your life like I did.
Road, mountain, trail or desert โ whatever the distance and whatever the surface, if you love the challenge of competition, I have the experience and knowledge to help you realize your potential.
